Nokia Launched Lumia 928

  You’ve waited…you’ve been asking for it…here it is! The Nokia Lumia 928 was finally revealed for Verizon in the US.In the US, where the company is still struggling has lot to prove with the Lumia 928, a variant of last years sleeper hit - Nokia Lumia 920. The handset will go on sale staring May 16.
  The Nokia Lumia 928 looks a lot familiar to its cousin - Lumia 920. The newly launched device is headed to Verizon CDMA network. The 4G LTE enabled device comes with a 4.5-inch OLED display with resolution of 1,280 x 768 pixels
at 334ppi, while the Nokia Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch IPS display at 332ppi. The Lumia 928 is a bit taller than the Nokia Lumia 920.
  In terms of design, the former handset is more polished. Specs wise, it has the same 1.5-GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 2,000mAh battery, and 32GB of internal memory. The device is primarily about its magical camera, and PureView imaging technology.The Lumia 928 houses an 8.7-mega pixel rear facing camera supported by Carl Zeiss lens, and Xenon flash. Nokia says the device camera is so powerful that you can leave your DSLR at home.
  As it is powered by PureView imaging technology then naturally the device must be proficient in taking images in low light. The makers also stuffed three right rated microphones so that consumers get distortion free sound. The Lumia 928 comes with wireless charging option too.

Panasonic India has launched its first smartphone P51 in India


Panasonic today re-entered the smartphone market with the global launch of its new P51 smartphone in India. It has been priced at Rs 26,990 in the Indian market and will compete against the likes of Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC One X and LG Optimus 4X HD, among others.  The all-new Panasonic P51 features an IPS display with 1280x720p resolution and 295ppi pixel density; the touchscreen boasts of Asahi DragonTrail scratchproof and damage-proof glass for added durability. This device runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), the latest iteration of Googles free mobile operating system. It has a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU under the hood and packs 1GB RAM and 4GB onboard storage, along with microSD card support up to 32GB. The connectivity suite of this dual-sim phone comprises features like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB. An 8MP autofocus camera with LED flash is placed on the back of the phone, while a 1.3MP HD unit is used in the front. Powered by a 2,500mAh battery, Panasonic P51 comes with a free magnetic flip cover and supports input via stylus. This phone measures 8.5mm along the waistline, weighs 135gram and will be available in white and black colours.
  The company said it has inked a partnership deal with Times Internet Limited, the online division of The Times Of India Group, and the new handset will come preloaded with TOI and ET apps.

Intex Launched Its Tab i Buddy Connect 3G


Intex launched its 7-inch 3G enabled tablet, i-Buddy Connect, featuring Educlass, a school application that offers preloaded NCERT text books for classes 1st to 12th, a repository of question banks and interactive content for various subjects. The tablet has a 17.8-cm (7 inches) display and supports 5 point touch capabilities. It runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and sports 4GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Powered by 1 GHz Dual core processor, the device comes
with 1GB RAM and sports a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front facing one. The tablet features dual-SIM slots with voice calling support. Complete with an HDMI slot, the tablet can be easily connected to the Television and laptop via a HDMI cable. It is backed with a powerful 3500 mAh lithium Ion battery, providing a talktime of 3hrs and stand by upto 300hrs.The dual SIM tablet provides connectivity options along with video conferencing and browsing through internet. Samsung launched Galaxy Mega Smartphone

Samsung yesterday launched its Galaxy Mega smartphone in India. One has a 5.8-inch screen and another has a 6.3-inch screen (diagonally). The first costs Rs 25,100, while the second will cost Rs 31,490.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2. The smartphone comes with an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixel front camera. The device supports NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G networks. It has 8GB Internal Memory, with a micro SD slot which has 64GB as maximum limit. The RAM is 1.5 GB and in
terms of processing speed it has a 1.7 Ghz dual-core processor.

The Mega 5.8 has pretty much the same specifications except that it has a 1.4Ghz dual-core processor and yes, a 5.8-inch screen. The 6.3-inch version smartphone camera is loaded with features which are similar to the ones in Galaxy S4. These include Sound and Shot, Dual-Photos, Story Album, etc.

• ‘Samsung WatchON’ which converts the smartphone into a television remote control.

• ‘Samsung Link’ which allows users to stream photos, videos, notes, or music to their television, tablet or computer.
